The Merrill Airport Commission, which meets on a monthly basis, consists of five members, one of which is an alderperson. All members are appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the Council. The Mayor selects members especially interest in aeronautics. The Commission elects its own chairman and secretary, who keep accurate records of the Commission's proceedings and report to the City Council on a monthly basis. The Commission is responsible for the management and control of the Merrill
Municipal Airport.
